Game Overview
Game Concept - The concept of this game is a go kart game in which you race to finish the track before the other. The idea behind this game is that it will be based on a university setting in which majors will be chosen.

Gameplay
Courses
Courses will be determined by player by which building they choose on campus. Each building will be associated with a major and all of the tracks will be based on some form by that major.
Majors and Classification
"Choose you major"
Players will be able to choose a major which determines the kart's special attributes like weapons and other items. Classification will reflect the customization you are able to access for your kart and driver.
Majors so far:
Fine Art, Computer Science, RadioTelevisionFilm
Majors in the future:
Engineering, Architecture, Natural Science, Education, and many more ....
Kart
The base kart will be the same for everyone to begin with making it balanced at the start of the game.
As you play more and more and do a certain track or certain amount of tracks, your classification will change. You will start off as a freshmen with nothing special and level up to the next classification.
Freshman => Sophmore => Junior => Senior => Alumni
As you level up to higher classification more and more customization will be available for you kart.
You will be able to customize both aesthetics of the kart and performance.
Aesthetics - decals, color choice, addition to the kart etc...
Performance - racing tires(drifiting), exhaust, engine, etc...
Weapons
Each major will have weapons that will have specific weapons that are associated with it.
All of weapons will be balanced in the radius it can attack the other karts.
So far there will be a forward and a backwards weapon.

Back Weapon - the behind weapon will be drop asterisks that will pop tires and make them wipe-out.
Art - Color Overload |
Art will project a spray can that will blind and slow down the other drivers.
Back Weapon - the behind weapon will have a squirt out oil paint on the ground behind them which will act as a oil slick and make them slip around.
Other Items
On the tracks there will be symbols for speed boost and shield protection that will be activated for a couple seconds. They will activated when a driver runs over the symbols on the ground and unavailable for a other drivers for a little time before they can be used again.
